ABOUT MAKING THE GAME
Our goal was to get better at making games, especially 3D ones. We are sure that we learned much along the way. At first, we had two prototypes and couldn’t decide what game to choose and finish. We wanted to finish under 48 hours, but because our deciding skills took 12 hours away, we had to use whole 72 hours - and even that was close one.
We hope you will have fun playing “Don’t taste the lava” and thanks in advance for every feedback.

Your game is really cool ! I finally reached the end ! Some levels are way harder than others but your concept is fun and it is well done !
As a player, I think that some levels don't really need the charac to move. Your game is based on enigmas but having to press the restart button every ten seconds during a level is clumsy. For some levels, I think it can be an interesting thing to get a "pause the action" button or having to click on "play" to let the character animation begins. I'm just sayin', but even if I stayed at least 10 minutes on some levels, and that's why the restart button becomed boring on those cases, your game is hella' cool ! Thank you very much !
Thank you very much for positive comment. We really appreciate you playing and rating our game.
If you really enjoyed the game, we have good news for you: we just launched a post-jam version of the game! In this version, we took a completely different approach though. It’s community driven - introducing “Edit Mode”! In “edit mode” you can design your own levels and let other players enjoy it.
We originally planned to do this version in a few hours, but in the end it took almost a week on night-coding. It was exhausting, but we learned a lot of new things again. And it was worth it.
You can play this version of game on our website www.quietmuffin.com. We can’t host it on itch.io, because unity networking does not work properly there. And by the way, you can check out our currently developed game Train King when you are at our website :)
